Bachelor of Science

Mechanical Systems

What is a Mechanical Systems major?

Mechanical systems involves understanding the design, construction, operation and maintenance of machines, that is, practically anything with moving parts.

Students who have undertaken the Mechanical Systems major will be able to rigorously integrate fundamental science in mechanics with engineering principles to solve practical problems involving mechanical systems.

This system major can lead to a professionally accredited Master of Engineering (Mechanical) or a Master of Engineering (Mechatronics).

Studies in this discipline are also available via the Bachelor of Engineering.
